Excel to PDF
Convert XLSX, XLS and ODS workbooks to PDF.
Word, Excel and PowerPoint layouts cannot be converted faithfully inside a browser, so your file is sent to our server, converted, and deleted immediately. Nothing is kept. Every other tool on this site works on your device.
When to use it
Use it to share a report, an invoice or a price list that should not be edited and should print the same everywhere.
How it works
- Choose your files, or drop them onto the box above. You can add several at once.
- Add a workbook and confirm the upload. Every sheet is printed using its own page settings.
- Press the Convert to PDF button.
- Download the result, or add a next step without downloading.
Supported formats
- Input
- XLSX, XLS, ODS
- Output
- Files
- One or several; each file is processed on its own
Several results can be downloaded one by one or together as a ZIP.
Where your file goes
The file goes to our conversion server only after you agree. It is converted there and deleted straight away; nothing is kept.
What is kept, and what is not
Values, formatting and print areas are kept. Formulas appear as their results.
Limits
- Each sheet is printed with its own page settings. A wide sheet without a print area can be split across several pages.
- Files up to 100 MB each.
- Very large or complex documents can take too long on the server and are stopped. If that happens, try a smaller file.
If something goes wrong
Columns are cut onto separate pages
Set a print area or fit-to-page scaling in the workbook, then convert again.
The conversion fails or takes too long
Check that the file opens in its own program. Damaged or very large files can fail; a smaller file usually works.
My file is not accepted
Check the formats listed above. A damaged file, or one with the wrong extension, is refused with a message saying why.
