PDF to PowerPoint
Turn PDF pages into PowerPoint slides.
Word, Excel and PowerPoint layouts cannot be converted faithfully inside a browser, so your file is sent to our server, converted, and deleted immediately. Nothing is kept. Every other tool on this site works on your device.
When to use it
Use it to reuse pages of a PDF in a presentation, or to present a document you received as a PDF.
How it works
- Choose your files, or drop them onto the box above. You can add several at once.
- Add a PDF and confirm the upload. Each page becomes a slide.
- Press the Convert to PowerPoint button.
- Download the result, or add a next step without downloading.
Supported formats
- Input
- Output
- PPTX
- Files
- One or several; each file is processed on its own
Several results can be downloaded one by one or together as a ZIP.
Where your file goes
The file goes to our conversion server only after you agree. It is converted there and deleted straight away; nothing is kept.
What is kept, and what is not
Text, shapes and images are placed as separate objects on each slide. Complex layouts may need adjusting.
Limits
- Text, shapes and images become separate objects, so complex pages may need adjusting.
- Files up to 100 MB each.
- Very large or complex documents can take too long on the server and are stopped. If that happens, try a smaller file.
If something goes wrong
The slides contain only pictures
Scanned pages hold pictures, not text. Make the PDF searchable with OCR PDF first if you need to edit the text.
The conversion fails or takes too long
Check that the file opens in its own program. Damaged or very large files can fail; a smaller file usually works.
My file is not accepted
Check the formats listed above. A damaged file, or one with the wrong extension, is refused with a message saying why.
Questions
How many slides do I get?
One slide for every page of the PDF.
Is my PDF stored on the server?
No. It is sent only after you agree, converted, and deleted straight afterwards.
